One of the taller varieties of Astilbe and a real showstopper. Rich red on long plumed stems appear over emerging foliage that is deep green. Stems and foliage are rich reddish brown hence the Chocolate Cherry name.
Do not let the soil dry out, and mulch coverage would help to reduce water evaporation.
