Commonly known as garlic chives, is a hardy perennial herb with flat, green leaves that have a mild garlic flavor. It produces attractive clusters of small, star-shaped white flowers in late summer, which are loved by pollinators. Both the leaves and flowers are edible and widely used in Asian cuisine. Easy to grow, garlic chives can spread quickly and may become invasive if not controlled.
