Mountain Mint is not the same as the 'true' mints that we all know. It is similar, in that it can be used to make Tea's and in preparing sweet and savory dishes. This mint grows densely with silvery leaves at the top of the stems and when crushed projects a spearmint aroma. The blooms are rounded clusters of white and pink and are tubular in shape. Loved for it's long blooming season.
It spreads by rhizomes can be aggressive, however, easily controlled.
A pollinator MAGNET.
