Rodgersia aesculifolia is a long-lived perennial for shadier and moist locations though it can be grown in average soils in part sun. The large clumps consist of big, bold, foliage and leaflets with great surface texture that resemble Aesculus. Plants make a great focal point. Pyramidal towers of white flowers rise above the foliage in summer.
