The golden petals of this Black-eyed Susan are generously brushed with glowing red at their bases, giving the appearance of a ring of fire around each flower’s characteristic dark eye. It produces large, 4–6” blooms all season long on compact, densely branched plants that reach only 18–24” tall, which makes them ideal for container plantings or the front of garden beds.
They need plenty of sun and good drainage, and offer long-lasting cut flowers.
